A. Background
A group of prominent Israelis and other nationals laid the foundation to a very unique and ambitious project called "The Bible valley” in the holy land.
The motivation behind the initiative was two fold:
Promoting cultural heritage and creating a bridge between monotheistic civilizations. In their view the linkage between the holy land, the holy books and the peoples who share a common belief in them, is a source of affinity and cooperation, adding to tolerance and peace.
The dream turns in now days into reality:
25,000 acres in the foothills of the Jerusalem mountains have been designated for this monumental project. The area itself is one of the richest landscapes in Biblical narratives and archeology with every stone sharing a secret of a prophet or a hero and a story.

B. Main objectives
The Bible valley society (NGO) aims to establish and reconstruct the area designated and dedicate it to a biblical experience. It will address the desires and fascination of hundreds of millions of people for whom the Bible is central to their beliefs.
The Bible valley will combine two elements:
1) The creation of a real life Biblical experience , combining archeology and history as a traveling hands on feature
2) The creation of the Bible center as the foundation and location to the international project called "People of the world inscribe the Bible". The center will serve as a study center promoting Bible culture, values and interfaith tolerance.
C. People of the world inscribe the Bible - the international project
1.
The initiative
This project is an off spring of the Bible valley and its main international
Initiative.
Bible lovers from all over the world and denomination will be invited to
make a personal contribution to a Bible manuscript, in their respective
language and in their own hand writing. Each and every title will be placed
in the Bible center as a testimony to our common heritage.
2. The objectives of the project “People of the World Inscribe the Bible” are:
To construct the Shrine (House) of the Bible in the Bible Valley region through the collaborative efforts of hundreds of thousands of volunteer Bible devotees.
To archive, manage, and display the hundreds of manuscripts and Bible volumes, written in many languages, illustrating the ubiquity of the Bible;
The Shrine of the Bible will be founded as a center Bible studies, as well as a hub for cultural and educational initiatives, which seek to explore the relevance and impact of the Bible values on historical and contemporary human affairs;
Each volunteer who will personally inscribe a Biblical verse in his/her own hand, will be named a Fellow of the Shrine of the Bible;
To foster continued multinational and multi faith dialogue through the ongoing process of inscribing the Bible;
To enable visitors to the Bible Shrine to contribute their own handwritten verses.
3. Work Plan
Under the auspices of the bible valley international organ the actual implementation of the hand written inscription of the Bible will take place in the various participant countries
The act of inscription will take place in such locations as schools, social forums, houses of worship, professional associations, social clubs, municipal and regional forums, and the like;
Any group and/or association which commits to its members’ participation in the project will be able to take an active controlling and coordinating part in its realization;
The Shrine (House) of the Bible will display and archive any and all inscribed volumes, including incomplete and partially completed volumes. Each sponsoring organization will be recognized and acknowledged along side its own inscribed volume;
The project encompasses both the Old Testament and the New Testament
4. Fund raising and financing
• The participation in the writing of the Bible is combined in the fund raising efforts with proceeds forwarded toward the establishment of the Bible Shrine (House) in the Bible valley.
• All financial and fund raising efforts will be subjected to proper auditing, with an auditor to be appointed after the official registration of the local committee with the international Bible association
Each individual inscriber will receive a certificate as a Fellow of the Shrine (House) of the Bible;

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the
deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.
3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
4 God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the
darkness.
5 God called the light day, and the darkness He called night And there was
evening and there was morning, one day.
6 Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let
it separate the waters from the waters."
7 God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the
expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.
8 God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was
4. Documentation
The act of inscription is temporally distinct, whereas the written verse is eternal. Documenting the act will lend it an enduring timelessness in the following manner:

o Name
o Contact information [address, telephone, e-mail]

The process will be recorded by the local operations team;
The Bible Valley society encourages all Central Entities and Branches to record and memorialize the inscription events on video;
All documentary records will be housed in the Shrine (House) of the Bible. Each volume will be displayed alongside its video recorded documentary film, combining the eternal verse with the fleeting act of writing for all time;
